My hanging dragonflies are cast in bronze and have two screws on the bottom so that you can attach them to a wall or piece of wood, indoors or outdoors! I have hand painted the dragonfly wings with interference pigment powders in greens and purples. This pigment is iridescent and goes from subtle to bright as you view the dragonfly in different light, or from different angles. It adds a pearlescent shimmer that is really beautiful.

This is one of my favorite miniature sculptures. I sculpted the dragonfly out of oil based clay, then had them cast in bronze. They have two screws on the bottom so that you can attach them to almost anything, a wall or piece of wood, indoors or outdoors. You can see how the bronze dragonfly looks on one my mosaic wall hangings for a 3D mixed media effect!

I have hand painted the dragonfly wings with interference pigment powders in greens and purples. This pigment is iridescent and goes from subtle to bright as you view the dragonfly in different light, or from different angles. It adds a pearlescent shimmer that is really beautiful.
